Peoples, who initially dove into the music industry as a rapper, is a multi-platinum producer and Grammy-nominated engineer. Although he has a 16-year engineering and production career, it wasn’t until 2014 that he brought his talents to So Amazin Studios. Shortly after, his studio chemistry with rapper Fetty Wap took a turn for the best and created an undeniable mark at So Amazin. The partnership has gained both Peoples and Fetty several spots on top charts. Peoples channels his musical aptitude mainly through rap and hip-hop, but also enjoys working with R&B and pop artists. Bandana.jpg

Chris “Bandana” Mejia

Pure Bandana was introduced to So Amazin Studios back in 2008 as a rapper who was looking for a better studio to finish up his projects. However, his unique sound and creativity sparked the interests of Shy Boogs who eventually tapped on him to become part of the So Amazin team in 2011. Under Shy’s wing, Bandana quickly learned not only how to produce but engineer as well. Many times, artists struggle pinpointing the sound they’re aiming for, but one of Bandana’s key skills is his ability to connect the dots and give direction to artists to bring their ideas to life. When he’s not behind the boards, Bandana can be found behind the mic, staying true to his original artistry as a rapper.

Kevin “Chini Slickback” Vuong

Shortly after graduating high school, Chini took his interest in music a bit more seriously and began exploring the world of music composition, engineering, and production. While some prefer a solely digital approach to music, Chini gravitated towards live instruments and also taught himself how to play the piano, guitar, bass and drums. He bounced around different internships and studio jobs before finding a home at So Amazin in 2018. Although he’s only been here for a few years, he’s already created quite a portfolio for himself and has worked with artists such as Pink Sweats, Fetty Wap, Justina Valentine, IV Jay, Tone Stith, and many more!
