Meet The Instructors
Kevin "Chini Slickback" Voung
Producer, Song Writer, Recording Engineer
Chini is a full-time, Billboard-charting producer and creative raised and currently based in New Jersey. Over the years, he has worked with artists including Fetty Wap, Mary J. Blige, Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Wilson, and G Herbo, showcasing a versatility that spans multiple genres and styles. His ability to maintain artistic integrity while delivering sonically captivating final products has made him a trusted collaborator across a wide range of sounds and genres.
Eddie "Shy Boogs" Timmons
Producer, Song Writer, Recording Engineer
Eddie Timmons, “Shy Boogs”, is an engineer, producer and songwriter from Clifton, NJ. In 2006 he opened up So Amazin Studios right in his hometown, where he continues to work as the head engineer and producer. Throughout his career, he has worked with artists such as IV Jay, Fetty Wap, Chris Brown, Omarion, DMX, Don Omar and many more. His most notable works include production on Fetty Wap’s tracks “Time” and the 3x Platinum single “Again,” both of which appear on Fetty Wap’s self-titled, mulit-platinum debut album.
LaLa Miyagi
Vocalist, DJ, Producer
Lala is a New Jersey–based multi-medium artist with a deep love for music and visual art. Coming from a musical family, she grew up inspired by her grandfather, a musician who worked with artists like Jimi Hendrix and Teddy Riley. Today, she channels that influence through DJing, music production, painting, and whatever creative medium speaks to her in the moment.
